ACADEMIC BOOK PROFILE
Research, writing and responsible use of AI.
Bibliographic information and a description of the book’s methodological contributions for researchers, libraries and evaluation services.
Abstract
The book connects the formulation of research problems with methodological coherence, scientific writing and the documentation of sources and decisions. It combines discussion of research projects and articles with a methodological proposal for human oversight of artificial intelligence, PENSAR-IA. Appendix B develops a demonstrative application of Canvas AXIS for research-scope delimitation. The work also addresses scientific identifiers and traceability. Its intended readers include students, supervisors, researchers and professionals involved in research and scholarly communication. The methodological frameworks are presented with explicit limitations: the book does not report empirical validation of their effectiveness.
Keywords: research methodology; scientific writing; research integrity; artificial intelligence; human oversight; scientific documentation.

Methodological contributions and scope
PENSAR-IA
Chapter 8 discusses human judgement, proportional verification and the six stages of the proposed protocol. The methodological note on printed page 76 states that the chapter does not present empirical evidence of efficacy or external validation.
Canvas AXIS
Appendix B presents a methodological article with a demonstrative application. Its opening on PDF page 161 identifies the contribution as conceptual and demonstrative, rather than a validation or performance-comparison study.
Source recovery and traceability
Discussion of scientific documentation is supported by citations and reference lists. The References section opens on PDF page 130, followed by the main bibliography on page 131.
Relationship to earlier resources
PENSAR-IA and the Canvas workbook have their own version records. Their use in the book should be read in that context. Previously registered material is not described here as first published in this volume.
Authors and editorial assessment
Author biographies appear on PDF pages 5–7. The editorial credits on page 4 identify four scholarly and technical reviewers. Their acknowledgement documents the reviewers credited in this edition; the underlying assessment records are separate editorial documents.
